It is often difficult to find a qualified band instrument technician specializing in repairing vintage and severely damaged horns. The work requires a large investment in costly tools, parts and supplies. Then add the decades of experience

needed. Most technicians steer away from these kinds of repairs.

I on the other hand, prefer the challenge and enjoy this type work.

Engraving and Re-Engraving price estimates depend on time involved.

Each new engraving is one of a kind design.

I do not use stencils.

A deposit sets in motion a drawing for approval, then a firm price is established.

Many musicians, Band Directors, Small Music Stores and Collectors do not have access to a craftsman that routinely repairs overly damaged instruments.  This may be because of their location or simply that so few craftsman exist with the experience and tools to get the job done right,at a fair price in a reasonable amount of time.

To that end, I offer my services.

Of course when repairing damaged instruments each situation is different therefore it is impossible to do a price list as is the case with regular maintenance such as repads, playing condition, minor dent or solder repairs.

But with the advent of the internet detailed photos can be sent to me and I can get a very good estimate of the time/cost it will take to complete the project.

I welcome your inquires
